Copper Apple Infused Glass Plate

Sandie Charlton and her son, Jon Moilanen have revived the ancient art of combining glass and metal.  In this piece, a single hand-cut copper apple is fused between layers of glass to form a functional piece of art. The 1500 degreee kiln turns the copper apple into a unique, fiery image.  This is a durable and beautiful piece of art, that is food-safe.  The plates are signed and dated by the artist.  Plate is approximately 8" x 10".
