Copper Apple Infused Glass Platter

Sandie Charlton and her son, Jon Moilanen have revived the ancient art of combining glass and metal.  In this piece, 3 hand-cut copper apples are fused between layers of glass to form a functional piece of art. The 1500 degreee kiln turns the copper into a unique, firey image.  This is a durable and beautiful piece of art, that is food-safe.  Our platters are signed and dated by the artist.  Platter is approximately 10" x 18".
