New Adventures Await - For All of Us!

In 1996 Mary and Dave took a leap of faith and purchased The Harvest Tree. The Apple Store, as it was affectionately known at the time (and still is sometimes), has transformed over the years from a store focused on everything apple related to a beautiful gourmet kitchen and gift store. 

Almost 12 years ago, my husband and I moved our family to Chelan to be closer to our extended family. I immediately inquired about employment at Culinary Apple - a store I always loved to visit when we were in town for vacation. I had customer service experience, but had never worked in retail. That was ok! I learned quickly that we were a team, and the customer was our number 1 priority. I like to say I was trained in the Weldy Way, and I've never looked back.

Many of you have already heard that in 2020 Mary and Dave will be changing directions and are taking advantage of the opportunity to explore interests apart from the Culinary Apple. My husband, Lars, and I are honored to be taking over the store in January, and am confident that we will be able to continue what they have grown. In fact, Mary and Dave will continue to be mentors to Lars and I as we navigate through our first year. Culinary Apple will continue to be a store our town can be proud of!

Some things will never change. We will still look for apple related gift items. We will still strive to offer you the best customer service we can, and of course, will still make delicious fudge and cinnamon glazed nuts! We will carry on with the Rewards Program as you've come to know it. You will continue to earn points toward a $25 reward, we will continue to celebrate your birthday month with you by offering you $10 to spend in the store, and you will still receive a 20% discount on every first Friday of the month.

The other thing that won't change is that Mary and Dave will still be part of the Culinary Apple family, and this community. I'm happy to say, they will also be part of our lives for many years to come.
